TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION
1.
Adequate enrollment space must be available in the career & technical education program of study.
2.
Residents of participating districts will be given first priority for admission to the programs.
3.
The adult must be available to attend the Northern Tier Career Center according to the daily schedule
and calendar.
4.
Adult tuition students must abide by the same schedule and the rules and regulations required for the
secondary students. Failure to abide by the Northern Tier Career Center rules and regulations, in
relation to attendance, late arrivals, behavior, achievement, care of tools, etc., will result in loss of
privilege to attend the Northern Tier Career Center.
5.
Adult students must provide their own transportation to and from the Northern Tier Career Center.
6.
Adult students are welcome guests in the Blue Fountain Café when the restaurant is open.
7.
It is recommended that all adults have health/accident insurance.
8.
Adult students must submit appropriate Act 34 or 151 Clearances.
9.
Adult students, enrolled at NTCC, are strongly discouraged from fraternizing with secondary NTCC
students outside of school hours. Fraternizing with students will result in dismissal from the program
and/or other criminal or civil actions.
TRAINING AGREEMENT
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Students enrolled in the DAYTIME ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMS are expected to adhere to
all school and shop regulations.
2. Required safety equipment will be provided the student as prescribed by the instructor and the school.
3. Students will be expected to attend all scheduled class sessions. Absences during the agreement will not
be credited toward refunds.
4. In the event of a shop accident, students are responsible for all medical costs.
5. Obtain Act 34 and 115 Clearances.

Tuition is based on the annual 180 student day calendar.

TUITION REFUNDS
1. To be eligible for any refund, the student must officially withdraw from the Northern Tier Career Center by
written notification to the Director. The time of withdrawal, is the date the request for withdrawal is filed
with the Director.
2. Tuition refunds will be based on the following:
 withdrawal occurs within the first 10% of the course = 80%
 withdrawal occurs within the first 20% of the course = 60%
 withdrawal occurs within the first 30% of the course = 40%
No refund will be granted after the first 30% of the agreement is completed.
