Renmin University of China Renmin University of China (RUC) is a national key comprehensive institution that focuses mainly on humanities, social sciences, economics and managerial sciences. At present, RUC is comprised of 25 colleges and the Graduate School. The institution offers 63 programs leading to the bachelor’s degree, 148 programs leading to the master's degree, and 100 to the doctorate degree. There are also 14 postdoctoral programs and 13 national key research centers in humanities and social sciences as well. The number of research centers of RUC ranks first among the national higher learning institutions in China. RUC is one of the key educational institutions that has accepted international students to China since 1951 and accepts numerous China scholarship students every year. Till now there are more than 5,000 foreign students from nearly 100 countries having graduated from RUC. Presently, there are over 1000 students from over 90 different countries studying in RUC.
