St Augustines Repertory Society (STARS) proudly present their seasonal production, The
British Musical PETER PAN based on the novel by J.M.Barrie.
Performed in the Parish Centre on Wednesday 15th, Thursday 16th, Friday 17th and
Saturday 18th January at 7.30pm. There is also a matinee on Saturday 18th at 2.00pm.

HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY – MONDAY 27TH JANUARY
This will take place at 1.00pm in Central Hall at the Dolphin Centre. The theme of this years
ceremony is ‘Journeys’. It will include a testimony from Mrs J Slasenger, a representative
from the Association of Jewish Refugees, readings, music and prayer.
 The Diocese is also holding a Memorial Evening at St Aidan’s Catholic Academy,
Sunderland SR2 7HU on Thursday 23rd January at 7.00pm. The principal speaker will
be Eugene Black a Holocaust Survivor and will be in the presence of Bishop Seamus
and the Mayor & Mayoress of Sunderland. If you would like to attend please confirm

This will recommence on Thursday 16th January at 7.00pm in the Presbytery.

SPUC Society for the Protection of Unborn Children.
There will be an appeal on Sunday 19th January. In common with the Catholic Church, SPUC
defends and upholds the sanctity of human life from
conception until natural death. It seeks to protect unborn children from abortion and defends
disabled, elderly and incapacitated from euthanasia and assisted suicide. SPUC also
provides trained speakers for schools and offers pro-life support for teachers, parents and
medical professionals.
