Malin is a naughty boy / a ringleader. He tells jokes at lunchtime and behaves badly in Maths class.

Jason said, “We miss you, but the Maths teacher must disagree with me”, which suggests that the Maths teacher doesn’t like Malin.

Jason said without Malin, everyone studies hard in Maths, and the school is now boring and quiet.

The moral of the story is as long as you work hard, you can succeed in the end.

Everyone knows the male lead will succeed anyway.

In the movie, everything about America was good, everything about China was bad.

The China in the movie is t he China in American’s eyes, not the real China.

Question Four

Advantages of employing Lihong:

She is used to playing with little kids.

She can do homework and read with the children.

She is cheaper than Mrs Ma.

Disadvantages of employing Lihong:

 She doesn’t have a car. She can only walk to Mrs Wang’s school with her sons.

On Wednesday, she plays soccer after school, so can’t work for Mrs Wang.

Advantages of employing Mrs Ma:

 Her daughter goes to the same school as Mrs Wang’s sons.

She can drive all the kids home after school.

She can work every day, and she can cook for them.

Mrs Wang can pick up her sons any time .

Disadvantages of employing Mrs Ma:

 Mrs Ma’s house may be a bit too far from Mrs Ma’s house.
