The Respiratory CLG will provide strong consensus clinical and professional leadership, and work closely with other CLGs with a respiratory component, including TB, children’s services, mental health and cardiovascular to inform high quality commissioning and priorities for the delivery of high value respiratory care.
This group will represent the many aspects of respiratory care, using a patient and carer centred approach, provide expert leadership and draw on the expertise of the broader respiratory networks for specific areas of work.
The respiratory care pathway in London includes:
Prevention
Earlier diagnosis and management in primary care
Patient choice, involvement and experience
