Jeff West Summer Ball registration will be Saturday, February 21st from 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. in the
Elementary School gym. You can register online by going to the JWBA website and clicking “Online
Forms” on the left hand side menu. Deadline to register is March 2nd.
Student Survey – Our students will be taking a district wide survey conducted by McCrel. If you do NOT
want your child to take the survey please sign and return the form that was sent home last week.
If you have BoxTops, please send them to school by Friday, February 20th. Thank you.
School calendar: Please note that the last day of school will be a half day. The printed calendar states a
full day and that is incorrect. The last day is May 22nd. The elementary school will be dismissed at 12:20
P.M…. We will serve lunch that day.
ELEMENTARY YEARBOOKS: The cost of the yearbooks is $13.00 and must be prepaid. Make checks
payable to J.W.E.S. We will not be ordering extra yearbooks. Yearbook orders must be back by March 6th.
Please do not combine yearbook and lunch money on the same check. Friday funny, in the calf…eteria
Jefferson West Elementary School will hold Kindergarten Roundup April 7th starting at 6:00 P.M. in the
Elementary Commons. This is for children who will be five years old on or before August 31, 2015. Please
call 785-484-2455 if you have a child that will be in Kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year.
