Elementary Student Arrival Routines
As students enter the building, they travel immediately to their classroom door where
they leave personal belongings up against the wall. The student should proceed to
designated area (Playground-on nice days & Elementary Gym- on rainy or cold days).
Stay in designated area until you are dismissed to your classroom.
At 7:55 a.m. 5th & 6th grade are dismissed
At 8:00 a.m. the classes are dismissed in the following order 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, & K
When class is dismissed from playground/gym students will line up in alphabetical order,
walk in a single-file line to the classroom door, pick up belongings, stand in line outside
the classroom door, and wait for the teacher’s instructions.
*If students need to leave the designated area, they need to first go to the designated area
and check in with the staff member in charge. Then follow the routine above (go back to
designated area or meeting your class in the classroom.)
*If students are not in designated area (classroom or cafeteria) by 8:20 a.m. they will be
marked tardy. If students are tardy they must sign in at the office.
*Older siblings and parents may walk younger siblings to class until October 1st. (This
does not include Pre-School Students.)
