Each Student Should Adhere to All School and Classroom Policies
Class Rules:

Requirements:
 Notebook
 Pencils
 Compass and Protractor
 Graphing Calculator (TI-83+/84+ or TI-Nspire family preferred) – can be checked out from the
library
 Optional: Colored Pencils
Grading Scale:
 Tests – 50%
 Quizzes – 30%
 Daily/Homework – 20%
Note: One retest is allowed if desired for each student per test. The final test grade will be calculated
using a weighted average: 75% of the higher grade plus 25% of the lower grade.
Other Notes:
 Work is expected to be shown. . . .if credit is expected to be earned. 
 All work should be completed with pencil – no pens.
 Passes out of class are only for emergencies – you have 5 per semester.
 Bottled water is allowed in class.
 If absent, daily assignments are due within 2 days, quizzes or tests within 1 week.
 I will provide assistance before or after school as much as I can. I am typically here by 7:30,
but asking in advance would ensure my availability.
 Progress Reports will be distributed every three weeks and will be expected to be
returned with a parent or guardian signature.
