Sonya Blevins, DNP, RN, CMSRN, CNE Dr. Sonya Blevins is the Associate Dean for the Mary Black School of Nursing, Greenville Campus for the University of South Carolina Upstate. Dr. Blevins received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Clemson University; Masters of Science Degree from Syracuse University; Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama. She has a wide range of nursing experience in critical care, medical-surgical, and obstetrical nursing along with nursing education. At USC Upstate, Dr. Blevins teaches in the baccalaureate, RN to BSN, and graduate programs. Dr. Blevins is a Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse (CMSRN) and Certified Nurse Educator (CNE). In addition, Dr. Blevins serves of the MEDSURG Nursing Editorial Board. She has numerous publications and has presented nationwide.
