Sign Up Starts Monday, October 31, 2011
Registration fee: $45 for basketball league and $5 for 2012 Club membership.
Included in the registration is a reversible jersey and matching shorts.
NOTE: Since the Basketball season play starts in January 2012, everyone will be required to renew
membership when registering for the league.

Teams will be formed the first week in December 2011 and will start play in January 2012.
Teams will be formed based on the school the player attends, if there are not enough players to form a
team the players will be combined with another school.
NOTE: Due to a high volume of registrants, we cannot guarantee that a child will be assigned to a
requested team or coach.

During the school year the Northwest Unit is opened for members from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and

SOUTHEAST UNIT

During the school year the Southeast Unit is opened for members 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

SMART MOVES
Join SMART Kids (ages 6-9), Start SMART (ages 10-12), Stay SMART (ages 13-15), SMART Leaders I (youth that complete Stay
SMART), and SMART Leaders II (youth that complete SMART Leaders I) and join many others in the prevention against alcohol,
tobacco, and other drugs and postponing sexual activity.
PROJECT LEARN / POWER HOUR
Project Learn is a High-Yield, Learning Program aimed to use activities to enhance learning processes. The program encompasses
learning activities, homework help and tutoring, for children in grades 2-12. Power Hour provides members with the support, resources
and guidance necessary to complete their homework and start the school day with a sense of confidence and ability. Daily – 3:00 p.m.

KEYSTONE CLUB
Keystone Club is a program designed to help teenagers build character as it challenges them to develop many of the virtues and
characteristics of positive and ethical leaders. Through the Keystone Club, teenagers will learn to make ethical decisions, the
importance of civic involvement, integrity, self-discipline and trustworthiness. For more information, contact Kathey Perry at (870)

COMPUTER LAB
The Computer Lab at the Club features 13 computers with software such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Desktop
Publishing. Students are taught to become more familiar with computers in order to feel more comfortable in a world full of
technology.
TRIPLE PLAY
Triple Play is an after-school/summer health and wellness program that empowers young people to make informed decisions about
their mental, physical, and social well-being. The goal of Triple Play is to improve Club member’s knowledge of healthy habits, good
nutrition and physical fitness; increase the number of hours per day they participate in physical activities; and strengthen their ability to
interact positively with others while engaging in healthy relationships. The program encompasses three components: mind, body, and

program.
AFTER-SCHOOL SNACK AND SUPPER PROGRAM
The Club will be providing after-school snack and supper during the school year and holiday breaks. Snacks will be served at both units
after school until 4:00 p.m. Supper will be served from 5:45 to 6:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. All meals are free to all children
however, a $2.50 cost per person will be charged for adults who eat with their children (notice must be given to the Club’s Food
Service Director at least one (1) day in advance). This program is sponsored by the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.
TRANSPORTATION
The Club will be providing transportation services from several elementary schools to our Northeast Unit. We will be taking signups
until we fill our roster size of twenty (20) members per school. Rides will not be provided home after the Club closes, so make sure you
are able to have you child picked up before or by 6:30 p.m. For more information and to sign your child up, come by the Northeast
