WARRANDYTE JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE Uxx PARENT’S INFORMATION 2009 The following information package has been prepared to assist parents to understand how they can support their child’s football team. Without the support of parents and other volunteers, it would not be possible to run the season. This package of information attempts to make sure that we all have access to useful information whether this is your first season or not. In particular it contains information about the support tasks that are rostered for each game. We rely on this support, without which the games cannot run smoothly, and in some cases, if the club does not meet requirements, possibly face fines from the League. More importantly, smooth running games ensure maximum enjoyment for all involved, especially our kids. In the first instance, for general information, please check the Warrandyte Junior Football Club website at www.warrandytejfc.org . It contains a wealth of information including fixtures, the latest on season commencement in these drought conditions, and important policies and codes of conduct that the club supports. Add it to your Favourites for easy reference. Most communication to team parents/players will by via email or messages at training. Contact details for club officials and team coaches/managers are also there. TRAINING At present, training will be held every. Players MUST bring a drink, mouth guard and footy boots. Warrandyte Junior Football Club U11 Parent’s Information INABILITY TO PLAY It is very important that the coaches or team manager are informed before a game if a player cannot play. Let us know at training or via email/phone. GENERAL It is important that spectators remain OUTSIDE the fence during play. We ask parents to follow the Parents Code of Conduct. Umpires are not to be approached for any dispute, including by boundary or goal umpires. First Aid – while we are fortunate to have two parents very well qualified for first aid duties each game, there is benefit in having others who can share this responsibility. If any parent is a qualified firstaider and willing to help in that role for our games, please let David Ure know. If any parent would like to, but needs first aid training, also please let me know as the club will consider paying for the training if you have the time. page 2 TEAM CONTACT DETAILS Enter yours here
