MCS Proudly Celebrates American Education Week
Troy, NC– Montgomery County Schools joins the National Education Association (NEA) in
celebrating American Education Week, November 14–20, 2010.
“Education employees, whether they are administrators, teachers or support professionals, work
diligently to serve our children and communities with care and professionalism,” said Dr. Dale
Ellis, Superintendent of Montgomery County Schools. “They play a major role in cultivating an
environment where students can learn and succeed in school and in life. We appreciate all of
their hard work and dedication to the children of Montgomery County Schools.”
NEA’s American Education Week presents all Americans with an opportunity to honor
individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality
education. Make sure you tell an educator “thank you” this week!
