SB 5822 Karen Matsukuma; Convenant Pathology Services 56-year-old female undergoing EGD for GERD. Endoscopic findings include moderate striped inflammation, erythema, and edema in the antrum. DIAGNOSIS: SB 5823 William Rogers; El Camino Hospital Mountain View [scanned slide available to view at https://pathslides.elcaminohospital.org] 35-year-old female with breast core biopsy. DIAGNOSIS: SB 5824 Dawn Darbonne/Ray Azzi; SCVMC [scanned slide available to view at https://pathslides.elcaminohospital.org] 30-year-old man with history of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of right orchiectomy. Admitted with fever, left scrotal pain. Chest x-ray showed mediastinal adenopathy and bilateral basilar lung nodules. DIAGNOSIS: SB 5825 Mike DiMaio/Teri Longacre; Stanford 59 year-old man with a posterior mediastinal mass which, by report, is infiltrative and involves the left lung hilar structures. Bronchoscopy revealed no endobronchial lesion. The anterior mediastinum is not involved by tumor. DIAGNOSIS: SB 5826 Ray Azzi; SCVMC [scanned slide available to view at https://pathslides.elcaminohospital.org] 51-year-old patient who initially presented with from cytopenia, nausea, and bloodtinged sputum. Re-presented 2 days later with increasing somnolence, chills, myalgias, and headache and became unresponsive with bradycardia evolving into wide complex bradycardia to course ventricular fibrillation. CT scan showed no focal lesions. DIAGNOSIS: SB 5827 Mike DiMaio/Teri Longacre; Stanford 70-year-old woman with a history of right-sided breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy, who recently completed cycle 5 out of 6 of taxotere, adriamycin and cyclophosphamide. 24 hours prior to admission, she patient developed some diarrhea was associated with some bleeding per rectum and some hematuria. Subsequent to that, she developed some severe abdominal pain and came to the ED. DIAGNOSIS: SB 5830 Karen Chisholm/Elizabeth Treynor/Roger Warnke; Stanford 47-year-old man with lymphadenopathy.
