Ribosomes

Ribosomes are for assembling the proteins of a cell.

Smallest organelle but the but the most abundant.

Ribosomes mix amino acid to convert food into protein.

Ribosomes are attached to the Endoplasmic

Reticulum which makes the surface look rough hence the rough ER.

Ribosomes are made up of dozens of proteins

Centrosomes

Also called the “Microtubules organizing center.”

Not essential but has a big part in the animal cell.

Centrosomes help in the division process.

Control structure of cell.

Centrosomes are made up of centrioles.

Placed near the nucleus and cytoplasm.

Are made up of two centrioles which separate at the time of cell division.

Fun Facts
