MISCELLANEOUS:




Found only in animal cells, near the
nucleus in the centrosome.
Plant cells are able to go through
mitosis without centrioles.
Sperm cells contain a pair of
centrioles; eggs have none.
They are found to be positioned at
right angles to each other.
