are EA kits, but coloring applies to the Hollands also.

Agouti Group
Few Days Old
Few Weeks Old
Adult Color
The top side of the Agouti body is banded and ticked. Banding means there is a ring pattern of different colors on each hair shaft. Ticked means that the color of the
tip of each hair is different than the overall body color. Their ears are laced with the same color as the ticking. The eye circles, inside of the ears, and the nape of the
neck is either white or tan. The underside of the tail, belly, nostrils and underside of the jowls are tan or white.
Click Here to see picutres of Agouti Banding.

Few Weeks Old
Adult Color
Even though this is the 'wide band group' that does NOT mean all of these rabbits carry the wide band gene (ww)!

top, cream on bottom. Pix courtesy of Amy Hinkle.

ELS's Columbus
The basic genotype for Fawn, Orange and Red Hollands are all the same. Rufus Modifiers are what differentiate them from each other. The Fawns have fewer rufus
modifiers then the Orange, and the Orange have fewer then the Red. The '+' indicates rufus modifiers. Red's DO have the wide band gene (ww).
