• YES

• society may have changed but human nature and God’s relationship with humans does not change

• stories about Jesus helping the oppressed encourages the oppressed today

• the way Jesus dealt with his own suffering can encourage people who suffer today

• the resurrection gives Christians hope in the darkest of situations

When reading the Bible, individuals are free to respond in their own way!

So, Catholics should follow Jesus no matter how difficult!
