• Program duration: three years
• Specialist training and theory in computer generated art
• Program develops skills in games aesthetics and game
art
• Applicants should have strong drawing and imaging skills
• Students undertake projects and core courses with
students of the games graphics design and games

Bachelor of Arts (Games Graphics Design)
• Program duration: three years
• Specialist training and theory in computer generated design
• Particular emphasis on narrative and game theory and practice
• Develops conceptual skills, in particular game design and
narrative skills
• Students undertake projects and core courses with students of
the digital art and games graphics programming programs
• Applicants should demonstrate a good level of design and
narrative skills

Bachelor of IT (Games Graphics Programming)
• Program duration: three years
• Develops games graphics programming careers
• Program is embedded in a computer science and
software engineering framework which is also applicable
to the broader IT industry
• Students undertake projects and core courses with

programs
• Applicants should demonstrate a good understanding of
maths and show some previous experience with
programming languages

Bachelor of Arts (Animation and Interactive
Media)
• Program duration: three years
• Australian leader in animation and interactive media education.
• Specialist training in digital media and design including animation
(2D and 3D), digital video, motion graphics, special effects,
interactive media and sound design, and professional practice
• Creative and supportive environment with emphasis on
intellectual investigation and conceptual development
• Staff are practising artists, designers, and industry practitioners,
who are experienced educators and actively engaged in research
in their areas of expertise
• Applicants should have strong drawing and imaging skills and
demonstrate a good level of design and narrative skills

analysis and creative solutions in different contexts within

Master of Creative Media –
Animation & Interactive Media
• Practice based approach to research
• Duration 3 semesters
• For students with interest in time-based image making and emergent
possibilities of both interactive and networked artwork and content
• Excellence in innovative research in the fields of animation,
interactive, networked and digital media and the cinematic arts
• Research projects use artistic, technical and intellectual investigation
and reflection
• Students are expected to demonstrate pride in their work and to
immerse themselves in studio practice supported by theory, research
and critical discourse
• Applicants are expected to have a prior degree relevant to the chosen
discipline area
