Four hundred Eighty (480) LGUs up to 2016 are targeted to upscale Business Permit and Licensing System (BPLS): • As of June 2012, 419 LGUs (87%) completed streamlining of BPLS; 46 LGUs on-going and two (2) yet to start the process of streamlining; • Finished the M&E for the BPLS streamlining funded by IFC, and • Currently field testing the data collection instrument prior to dissemination to LGUs. 2. Capacitated additional coaches on BPLS and provided training for ninety eight (98) data collectors; 3. Development of Certification system for BPLS coaches is currently on-going through the conduct of coaching activities; 4. Knowledge products for capacity building on BPLS streamlining reforms developed, and 5. A report card survey that will serve as input to SGH is currently being developed.
