MITIE procurement process
The MITIE procurement process is intended to capture the business need. This can
be driven by scope, specification, budget, or market changes.
The next stage is designed to then consider the supply market capability. This
process is designed to provide open and objective market evaluation.
The output is establishing a contract against our standard form agreement to then
sit within our contract database. Performance is then managed, measured, and
benchmarked for all key supply agreements.
Step 2: “Consider” & Evaluation
Considering and evaluating the supplier
responses against the Clients and MITIE
business need and expected benefits.
Notifications: via MITIE Sourcing portal that defines area of
opportunity for the framework supply base to respond to. Mid tender
interviews process, and site visits.
Tenders / Evaluations: that requests detail around supplier business
competencies, bespoke operational procedures, commercials,
sustainability and performance requirements.
Contracts: that will reflect the type of supply being sourced via the
market.
Step 3: “Contract” Delivery
Contract management, performance and
improvement. Working across various areas
with priority based on client needs.
