As an experienced bank CEO with over 30 years in the industry Mr. Spitz has an extensive range of experience that spans from community banking to corporate commercial lending. He has worked for some of the nation’s largest commercial banks including what is now U.S. Bank and what is now Chase. He was also the president of a de novo effort aimed at the delivery of banking services to low‐income consumers nationwide. In addition to his banking industry experience Mr. Spitz has served as President and Chief Financial Officer of an information technology firm and a television production company. These experiences have afforded Mr. Spitz an in‐depth understanding of computer and related systems technology and extensive experience in the entrepreneurial formation and successful operation of start‐up companies. In his community, he serves or has served on the boards of THRIVE (Regional Economic Development entity), the DeForest Area Community Foundation, the DeForest Area Chamber of Commerce, and the DeForest Area Rotary Club and is a member of the DeForest Area Economic Development Committee. In 2007, Mr. Spitz was named Citizen of the Year by the DeForest Area Chamber of Commerce. Within the banking industry, Mr. Spitz is a past director of the Community Bankers of Wisconsin and served on its Executive Committee. Mr. Fink has a solid understanding of best practices related to effective management of community banks and a focused approach to building shareholder value. His broad background in banking includes branch operations, management, data processing and automated services sales and commercial credit underwriting and analysis. David Fink Founder & President Settlers bank In addition to his banking industry experience, Mr. Fink was also part of a small group of investors that successfully started a title insurance company. Mr. Fink is also an inventor and holds a patent on a product innovation within the automotive sector. Mr. Fink is a board member of the University of Wisconsin ‐ La Crosse Alumni Association and is a member of its Finance Committee. He is a charter member and two time president of the Middleton Area Sunrise Rotary Club. He is an active member of the Shermalot Water Ski Team, serving as a driver and director. He is also active in several other organizations in the Middleton area. Mr. Fink graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a B.S. in Finance and holds an M.B.A. from Edgewood College. John Stoneman President Heartland Properties Mr. Stoneman is a Founding Director of SB Bancorp, Inc. and Settlers bank. He is a long-time member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of EAGLE School of Madison, Inc., a private-nonprofit school serving the needs of gifted and talented children in the Madison area, and is very interested in education and education policy. He is also a Trustee of the Bethel Lutheran Church Endowment Foundation, a member of its Investment Committee, and past president of the Bethel Lutheran Church congregation. Mr. Stoneman was raised on a dairy farm in the Madison area, and continues to maintain an active interest in agriculture. Mr. Stoneman received his undergraduate degree in mathematics and computer science from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, after which he worked for IBM in various capacities, including as a systems performance analyst and as a marketing representative. He left IBM to return to graduate school, and received his M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Douglass has over 25 years of management experience of increasing responsibility in the biopharmaceutical industry across multiple disciplines including research & development and operations. In 1999, Ms. Douglass founded and currently serves as President & CEO of Next Generation Clinical Research, an international contract research organization (CRO) providing clinical trial management services for products in development including pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices and diagnostics. Ms. Douglass holds a nursing degree from the University of New York with additional training in pharmacology and business from the University of Wisconsin. She also obtained certification in adult education from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a licensed education provider of the California Board of Registered Nursing. In 1978, Eric Schwartz opened his first Upstairs Downstairs Deli on State Street in Madison, Wisconsin. Mark Weaver has served as CEO of Weaver Auto Parts since co-founding the company in 1972. Over the past 40 years Mr. Weaver has grown the company to include 17 locations with three machine shops and, in 1992, opened an 18,000 square foot distribution center in Sauk City, Wisconsin to house product distribution, operations and IT.
