William M Landuyt (Bill) is the President of the Board of Trustees. His qualifications include a BBA
in Accounting and over 36 years experience in the areas of finance, general management, and
corporate governance. Bill is a Managing Director at a private equity firm. He has served as CEO and

other US and UK-based public and private companies. In addition to managing the financial affairs
for Celtic Charms and presiding at its board meetings as Chairman, Bill participates in fundraising
and community outreach, serves as an instructor-in-training or volunteer for lessons, and helps with
the general physical upkeep of the facility, horses, and equipment. Bill volunteers 60+ hours a week
at Celtic Charms.
Kevin Kilgallen, Esq (Kevin) serves as Secretary on the Board of Trustees. Kevin has a JD from
Fordham University School of Law, is a member of the bar in New York and New Jersey and has
been in private practice, Kilgallen and Kilgallen, since 2000. His duties as Secretary include
reviewing regulatory and contractual matters for Celtic Charms, overseeing application of and
compliance with the Board’s Conflict of Interest Policy and monitoring Celtic Charms’ qualification
as a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity.

Mark A Alexander (Mark) serves as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees. Mark brings twenty-five
years of Fortune 100 Company business leadership and corporate development experience,
including fourteen years as CEO of a NYSE-listed company. He currently serves as a director of three
other non-profit organizations, including Vice Chair of The Joyful Heart Foundation, an organization
committed to ending sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. Mark began his business
career as a CPA with a national accounting firm and qualifies as a ‘financial expert’ under NYSElisted company guidelines. As Treasurer, Mark’s board responsibilities include responsibility for the
maintenance of accurate and current financial records and compliance with governmental financial
reporting requirements and assisting in the development of the annual budget.
Patrick Barton, MS (Pat) received his Masters degree from Fordham University and the bulk of his
post-graduate work has concentrated on leadership development. In addition, Pat is certified to
administer and interpret numerous psychometric assessments including the Myers-Briggs Type
Inventory. Included in Pat’s 25 years of public service was 6½ years spent as a business counselor
with the Commission for the Blind & Visually Impaired. When the Americans with Disabilities (ADA)
Act became law in 1990, Pat educated others about the ADA for several years. Pat volunteers his
time at Celtic Charms devoting approximately seven hours a week to the organization.
Henry Boenning CPA (Hank) brings financial experience as a retired CPA and also as the former Vice
President, Treasurer of First State Bank Corp where he also served on the Board. Hank’s non-profit
experience includes duties as a Vice President on the Board of Education for Point Pleasant Beach,

NJ. Hank brings valuable experience as a horseman, having owned horses as part of racing
partnerships for over ten years as well as being a breeder since 2009. Hank service as a Trustee
includes equine evaluation and procurement and outreach to the local horse industry.
Wallace Conover (Wally) brings to Celtic Charms 40 years experience as a professional rider and
trainer. He is a winner of the MS Grand Prix and the Palm Beach Masters plus numerous year-end
MCHSA awards. Wally is the first chairman of the American Riding Instructors Program, a former
staff member of the Monmouth County, Hunt and Field Master of Hidden Hollow Hounds, as well as
a recognized judge of the International Sidesaddle Organization where he was named Judge-of-theYear at Devon PJA. He has coached and qualified 12 riders for the National Horse Show and a
National Collegiate champion. Wally is the program director at White Pine Farm of Howell, NJ.

Dr. Cheryl A Krause-Parello, PhD, RN (Cheryl) is currently researching canine interaction as a stressreducing mechanism in the wounded warrior and veteran populations. She began her research in
the field of animal-assisted intervention during her doctoral studies. Dr. Krause-Parello’s program of
research was inspired by her husband, a former marine. She wanted to give back, and states that
she was “too old to serve,” so she decided to build upon her passion for canines and her research
experience as a nurse scientist. She believes that these projects represent a small token of her
gratitude and are a way to give back to the military community who has sacrificed for our freedom.
Susan Levine, MA, CSW (Sue), is a social worker who has devoted her career to children with
disabilities and their families. She is a cofounder of Family Resource Associates, a private, nonprofit agency in Monmouth County, NJ and has been a social worker with the program since
1979. In addition to providing individual family support, Sue coordinates support groups for parents
and grandparents, as well as for siblings. She has also written newsletters for brothers and sisters,
and has coordinated social skills groups for teens and young adults with a range of disabilities. Sue
has spoken both locally and nationally on the topic of siblings of children with disabilities for the
National Down Syndrome Society, the National Down Syndrome Congress, the New Jersey Rett
Syndrome Association, and the Spina Bifida Association of the Tristate Area as well as for numerous
local support groups. Sue has co-authored a book with Dr. Brian Skotko entitled "Fasten Your
Seatbelt: A Crash Course on Down Syndrome for Brothers and Sisters" published by Woodbine
House. She has also done research with Dr. Skotko on families of children with Down syndrome.

Argo Parrello, PE (Argo) is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey and is the Chairman and
President of French and Parrello Associates, an engineering firm headquartered in Monmouth
County NJ. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Newark College of Engineering
and a Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois where he specialized in
soil mechanics and foundation engineering. Following graduate school, he served for three years in
the US Naval Civil Engineer Corp as Assistant Resident Officer in Charge of construction in Udorn,
Thailand and Camp Pendleton, California. Argo brings his education, experience, local knowledge
and contacts to assist us in our mission to provide a “safe and supportive, family farm environment”.
He has been volunteering in therapeutic horseback riding for over ten years as a sidewalker and
leader.
