Starfish Class - ‘Stars in the making!’ Legoland Trip Dear Parents/Carers, This year Starfish school trip is to Legoland in Manchester. The trip will take place on Thursday 27th June, children will need to come to school at normal time as we will be leaving promptly at 9:15am. We will be back in time to collect children as normal at the end of the day. What the day will involve: • The children will take part in ‘Tall Towers’ workshop, which will link to our learning in our next theme. Within this session they will get to test their models on the earthquake tables. • We will be visiting the factory and seeing how Lego is made. • We will be looking at creations made of Lego. • We will not be going on the rides as we do not have time with our busy day planned. What your child will need: • NO money, as we will not have time to go into the shop. • NO sweets • A packed lunch in a named carrier bag, no bottles, cans or Tupperware. Everything needs to be disposable, as we will not be bringing them home. • School uniform must be worn. • Please inform a member of staff if your child suffers from travel sickness. • Please ensure all medication is in date and in school on the day of the trip. E.g. asthma inhaler. The cost of this trip will be £15. This includes the cost of entrance, the workshop and the price of the coach. You may pay this in one go or in instalments over the next few months. Please put any payments in a named envelope, cheques should be made payable to St Paul’s Constable Lee CE Primary School. The reply slip must be completed in order for us take your child on the trip. All payments and slips must be returned to school by Monday 24th June at the latest. Thank you.
