Access Our Online Event Manager Program • Register as a Local Coordinator in the online event manager program and post your event information. Gather Equipment • To help new local organizers get started, HERSHEY’®S Track & Field Games provides all you need to run a successful event— softballs, measuring tapes, batons and stopwatches. Available while supplies last. Recruit Volunteers • The number of volunteers will depend on the size of your event. Designate a volunteer coordinator to maximize volunteer time and talents. 57 Tips For Success 58 Successful Tips 1. Make it fun for the kids, volunteers, and you! 2. Don’t wait until the last minute to round up volunteers. 3. Each participant must register by completing a Local Entry Form (available online). 4.
