Hauraki Cluster Resource Teachers: Learning & Behaviour (RTLB) Information for teachers, parents/whanau, teacher aides and Boards of Trustees What is an RTLB? RTLB are specialist itinerant kaiako/teachers who provide learning and behaviour support to a cluster of kura/schools. RTLB work in a cluster or team. The work of the team, and workload of RTLB, is managed by the cluster manager. RTLB support students with learning and behaviour difficulties in the cluster who meet the set criteria. Referral Process for Teachers • Download a referral form from our website • Complete referral form. • Send or deliver form to one of the RTLB. • Intake meetings to discuss referrals are held three weekly. • Schools will be notified of meeting outcome within 24hrs of the Intake Meeting. • Schools need to advise parents of this.
