Inspiring the
Creation of DTI
Students from CCD did not
understand where or how to access
services before and after they
transferred to UC Denver.
UC Denver was not prepared to
serve the unique needs of CCD
transfer students upon transfer.
Only 4% of CCD students who
transferred earned a 4 year degree
UC Denver was not prepared to
invest in this effort even though it
was committed to serve ethnically
diverse student populations.
CCD = 49% minority student pop.
UC Denver = 23% minority student
pop.

Located in Historic 9th Street Park on the
Auraria Campus, the Transfer Success Center
serves students at CCD transferring to UC
Denver and UC Denver students who have
already transferred from CCD.
