APPLICATION
PROCESS
1. Students Contact School Counselor. Application Checklist-The
counselor will begin collecting items for the Application Checklist.
2. Complete the Online Application by November 14, 2014;
http://www.nhcs.net/EarlyCollegeApp/EarlyCollegeApp.htm.
The application includes a 250-300 word essay.
3. Counselor submits Application Checklists Data November 24, 2014.
4. Teacher Recommendations-Communicate with your four core 8th
grade teachers (Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies)
about completing a Teacher Recommendation Form. The School
Counselor will send them an online form to complete the Teacher
Recommendation. These are also due by November 24th.
4. Interviews-students will be offered the opportunity to interview
based on selections from the application process.
5. Students will be notified of interviews and continuing in the Early
College Application process during the first week of January.
6. Student will be notified of acceptance the second week of February.
