The biggest energy farm in Europe PRODUCTION The production plant located in Candela (FG) owned by GC PARTCECIPAZIONI Soc. Agr.A RL, was designed in 2004 with the aim to realize flowers nurseries with a low environmental impact, through the use of experimental technologies. The production plant started up at the end of 2007 and is specialized in production and marketing of pot plants, such as green plants for indoor, seasonal flowering plants as well as multiyear plants, Mediterranean fruits such as apricots and nectarines and a wide range of succulent plants, all produced in greenhouses covering an area of over 85 acres (as of December 31, 2013). Furthermore , the company ranks first in Europe for the production of Anthurium Andreanum. The production is carried out, in all its phases, by innovative methods that allow to reach high quality standards demanded by consumers, supported also by the use of the high technology applied in the management of the greenhouses, and by availability of heat deriving from the cogeneration system and automatic methods for drop in temperature (cooling system) and by innovative solutions for the use of water. MPS Certified Company QUALITY Ciccolella adopted years ago a model of quality in continuous improvement, identifying in MPS certification the fundamental principles of sustainable development, environmental protection and making business safeguarding hydro geological resources.
