Customer Focused
Be our customers’ first choice through ease of business,
unmatched reliability and best environmental performance
Empower our organisation to deliver a superior customer
experience – driven by continuous improvement and
simplification
Fill our ships with the most profitable cargo
Beat competitors cost levels and
never accept unjustified cost
Creating
Opportunities in
Global Commerce
• At any point in time,
Maersk Line is
transporting cargo
worth approximately
3% of the world's
GNP (gross national
product)
Creating
Opportunities in
Global Commerce
• A single 20 foot container
can hold about 48,000
bananas.
• So, in theory, a PS-vessel like
the EMMA MÆRSK could
transport approximately 528
million bananas in a single
voyage - enough to give
every person in Europe or
North America a banana
for breakfast
