Your project is to carve a linoleum block What does a linoleum cut look like? Lino cuts have simple lines •They are carved with sharp tools called ‘gouges’ •They print backwards – this is due to the printing process Printmaking STENCIL: Serigraphy A stencil is fastened to a sheet of silk which is tightly stretched across a wooden frame.
