This war is called the “American Revolution.” Some called it the
“War of Independence” or the “Revolutionary War.” It is usually viewed as a struggle between the American colonies and King
George III of England, who ruled the British Empire.
I read a story that told about a young boy who started a revolution in his country that replaced a mean leader with a kinder one.

James Otis, a Boston lawyer, stirred up the colonists when he said that they should not pay taxes until they could send a person to speak for the colonies in Parliament. “Taxation without representation is tyranny !” he exclaimed.
