Wetlands walk November 2, 2011 Dear Educator, Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve, and The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education invite you to attend a week-long summer workshop to explore the Delaware Estuary Watershed. Enjoy a mixture of classroom and field experiences, have the opportunity to investigate the differences between urban and rural watersheds, and compare the upper and lower portions of the Delaware River. Requirements You must be a K-12 classroom teacher or environmental educator from a school (public or private) or other organization within the Delaware Estuary Watershed. You must be able to attend all five days of the workshop from July 9th13th, 2012. You must enjoy sunshine (or air conditioning when it's too hot!), nature, hands-on learning, and the beach! Gain professional instruction in watershed education. Receive FREE educational and classroom materials. Explore exciting field trip locations in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Become an integral part of the movement across Salem County to bring environmental awareness and activities right into the classrooms of county schools, with Mentoring from Mannington Mills.
