Goals
Set for the 2010 -2011 school year.
o continue effective usage of metrics & audits in schools
o continue to seek recycling improvements in schools
o explore organic composting options (ex. Wilmington Organic
Recycling Center – Peninsula Compost Inc.)
o develop a helpful mechanism to “measure” the qualitative
changes in students (“journal” idea)
o support & engage in county-wide efforts regarding renewable
energy options for schools (solar, wind, geothermal, etc.)
o include an energy supplier to discuss electricity at the fall
meeting.
