What is a GWAC?
• “Government-wide acquisition contract” is
a contract available for use by all
government agencies to procure
information technology services and
solutions.
• General Services Administration GWACs
are designated by the Office of
Management and Budget pursuant to
Section 5112(e) of the Clinger-Cohen Act,
40 U.S.C. 1412.
• Note: GWACs are not subject to the
Economy Act.

Contract access fee (CAF) of .75% (.0075 is less than one cent)

negotiated directly with Assisted Acquisition Services)

• The Alliant program consists of two GWACs: Alliant
and Alliant Small Business (SB)
– Alliant GWAC, open to all prospective bidders
– Alliant SB, set-aside for small business
• Global in scope, offering a wide range of information
technology services to Federal agency customers
• Both Alliant and Alliant SB GWACs are multiple
award, indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (MA –
IDIQ) contracts
• Aligned to the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA)
and DoD’s Enterprise Architecture
