What is 春节???
• Generally speaking, it is the first day of
Chinese new year in the traditional Chinese
calendar.
• Nowadays, it means the most important
holiday in China for one week.

The cleaning
In northern China, 饺子(Dumpling)is very
important in Spring Festival. Chinese people hide
some surprises such as coins ,honey and so on in
dumplings for different metaphor meanings .
On the southern China eve dinner table, there are
two dishes of fish. One is just for watching. It means
“年年有余” (You will have wealth every
year.) because of the Chinese pronounce. The
other one is for eating.
