EXECUTIONS?
Punishing's was normally killing people or injuring people. Hanging was a
common punishment. In 1594, seventy four people were hung in Devon.
Only noble gentlemen or the gentry were beheaded. Beheaded was when
your head was copped off while hanging was when your neck got tied to
a rope and you got strangled. Dishonest shop keeper were chained in the

people either way. The Tudor's thought that a evil spirit could take
body's of animals and people so they tested women .If they were a very
poor women you would be called a witch by very rich Tudors. They believed
that a witch had a spot that would not bleed even if you stuck a sharp
needle in to it. The ducking stool was a plank of wood with a seat. The
woman thought of being a witch would be tied to the seat and be dunked in
the freezing water. Unfortunately if they were innocent they sank in the
murky pool but if they floated they were burnt to death and was a witch.
