because just as the
executive branch is
the face of the
government so is
the record company

show their input
towards new styles
what songs to write
and play just as the
legislative branch
votes on what laws
to pass.

Newspaper, TV, and
internet news are
part of the media
and what they say
about the band can
affect its success
just as the judicial
branch can stop
unconstitutional
laws in its tracks.
Media = Judicial Branch

The manager is the
face of the band
just as the
president is the face
of the country. A
good manager can
lead to success just
as a good president
can lead to success.

The songwriter is
like congress
because they both
write the woodwork
of the each.
Songwriter = Congress

Critics rate music
just as the supreme
court “rates” laws
constitutional or
unconstitutional.
Also, the supreme
court is part of the
judicial branch and
critics are part of
the media.

Players can tune
and raise and lower
the volume of their
instruments to
make sure one
instrument is not
louder than the
others just as each
government branch
can check the
others.

has their own
rhythm and sound
just as the
government has
separation of
powers. Each house
has a different role.

because just as the
Great Compromise
joins two ideas or
beliefs so does
alternative. It
joined punk, rock,
and Britpop styles
into one genre.

a defiance of what is
set and accustomed,
