Four Types of Sentences
 Declarative
 Interrogative
 Imperative
 Exclamatory
Declarative Sentence
 A declarative sentence makes a statement.
 It ends with a period.
 My
teacher loves to teach math.
Interrogative Sentence
 An interrogative sentence asks a question.
 It ends in a question mark.
Do you think we will have recess today?
Exclamatory Sentence
 An exclamatory sentence shows strong feeling.
 It ends with an exclamation mark.
I can’t believe the principal can yell that loud!
Interjection
 An interjection is a word or a group of words that
expresses strong feeling.

It is not a complete sentence.

