Work with the students at your station. 2. Take turns reading the anchor charts provided. Be sure you understand each type of sentence. 3. Spread out sentence cards and punctuation marks. The tallest person starts by picking up one sentence card. Read it aloud and tell what type of sentence it is and with which punctuation it should end. 4. Have the student to the right check your work using the Answer Key. If correct, keep the card. If incorrect, put it face down on the table. It is now the next student’s turn. Challenge: Choose a comic strip. Find a question and an exclamation. Read each aloud with expression and fluency.
