Interrogative sentences are usually used to ask questions or to request for information. This type of sentence is most commonly used in English. Interrogative sentences have a question mark at the ending of the sentence. They usually end in a full stop. Example: Example: I am hungry. How are you? The weather is good today. Are the roses growing well? Dogs are naughty and cute. Would you like some coffee? Exclamatory sentence Imperative sentence Exclamatory sentences are used to display strong emotion in a sentence. Imperative sentences are used to give out commands, make a request to someone or to give instructions to do something. They can put emphasis on the sentence with the use of a exclamatory mark.
