Table Top Twitter Materials: Markers Blank Paper Ask the students a thought evoking question. Students begin their “tweet” by responding to the question. They should keep them short, in Twitter style (140 characters or less). Students will then move around the room, responding to their classmates’ tweets by incorporating evidence from: a) their own life and experiences b) the world around them c) prior readings or classroom discussions They should be communicating in written words only. Afterwards, students should return to their original tweet and read the comments. Use this to fuel a whole group discussion on the original question.
