CC: People also want to share this
information with
Reply: This will return an email to just the
person who emailed you
Reply All: use this with caution, all of the
people mentioned in To and CC will be replied
to

Write down the following:
 Login webpage
 Username
 Email address
What is my username?
The same username used when logging into a
computer, with @students.rentonschools.us
added (last name . first initial + internal ID
number)
For example John Smith #123456
Will login using:
smith.j123456@students.rentonschools.us


Using a web browser navigate to:
https://login.microsoftonline.com

Use your regular computer login:
Click on
Outlook to go
to your email
This only needs to be done once
English (United States)
(UTC-08:00) Pacific Time(US & Canada)
Click Save
Finding your email address
Click on the arrow next to
your name to find your
actual email address

Make sure Outlook is selected

Click new mail in the upper left

Sent an email to your teacher
 Put your class period in the subject line
Period #

Add your teacher to your contacts
 Click People
 Follow the prompts to add to your contacts, don’t
forget to save

Click the gear next to your name

Click Options
 Settings
Click mail and email signature
Your Signature should include:
First and Last Name
Title (Student)
Email address
School Name



What should the email be used for?
This is a school assigned email and should be used for educational and
professional communication. Email is not private. Emails will be
monitored and can be used as evidence in the case of bullying or
inappropriate behavior. Also as with all electronic content once it is
available outside of your computer it can be hacked or mistakenly rerouted to someone you may not have intended it to go to.
