Create a business plan template with all the relevant
sections and subsections- Can use word or download
templates to adapt.

and you have an outline of your plan
Carry out research on how to complete the sections
of your business plan.
Think-What information do you already have i.e
SWOT- check these are correct/accurate with the
guidance and if not amend
What information do you need to find/decide

You have today’s lesson 2 hours,

Next Tuesday’s Lesson 2 hours
Total 6 hours to complete task
Preliminary hand in 3.00pm on the 25.01.11
P5 and D1 are similar criteria it’s the level of detail and
accuracy of your work which will get D1 so aim to do
both at the same time
To pass you will need to complete all the evidence- cash
flow forecast, budget, suppliers, profit and loss a/c etc
Assessment of Business Plan


You will be required to attend an interview with the
bank manager to discuss your business plan and to
obtain funding for your business.
Interviews will be scheduled on 1st February
2011for the 8th February 2011






18.01.11- What is a business plan, create template,
collate available evidence, make list of what I need
to do over next few weeks- start work on list
25.01.11- should have all resources done, start to
put together business plan. Hand in first draft
01.02.11- improve business plan- get interview
date and time, plan for interview
08.02.11- attend interview for funding, improve
and collate portfolio
Final hand in 15.02.11
