A DEFINATION

Communication is the process of exchanging
information and feelings between two or more
persons

It is verbal; this is what we say

Its is also non verbal; this is the message about the
message.

Communication is one of the most important
features of a happy marriage and family!

HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE FOR BETTER
COMMUNICATION

In marriage and the Family Communication should
be:

People expressing themselves in a caring and
concerned manner

When one talks the other listens

In communication you will want the best for others

When differences occur they will be delt with by
respecting the other person’s needs and desires
COMMUNICATION

There will be an effort to understand each other’s
point of view and to respond with empathy

There will be an attitude of submission and a
willingness to consider giving up your own needs and
desires for the sake of others and the relationship

All will work together to get solutions through
mutual acceptance, commitment, forgiveness, and
servanthood

3. Listening means being able to repeat what your
sweetheart has said, and be able to express what the
other person is feeling. This is called reflective
listening.
