• Why do we need such systems? ‫• لماذا نحتاج لمثل هذا النظام؟‬
- What is this IVMS?
IVMS is a system that consists
of two parts. The on board
computer (OBC) or as we call
the ‘Travel Buddy’ and the Driver
Merit System (DMS).
The Travel Buddy is installed in
the vehicle and constantly
measures the drivers speed by
GPS and then calculates it
against the speed limit and
levels of acceleration or
deceleration.

that can be used in case of

The training will be provided
to those people monitoring the
system as well as managers
and focal points. Drivers will
be briefed by their concerned
focal points on the system
operation.

- Feedback to the Drivers
Each driver will be given on
one to one basis a feedback
on his driving performance
and any issues or concerns
will be provided and clarified
to the Driver.
Drivers should also have an
input on the system if they
notice or observe anything
that is abnormal during
driving.
