Site specific sections of the document. • What causes me pause? • What are the implications for my work? ● Engage in whole group discussion ◦ Briefly chart key information MDE M-STEP Practice Test ● Take the MDE M-STEP Preview Test http://bit.ly/1tKe2rY ● As you work on the practice test, and for a few minutes afterward, take note of the technological tools used during the assessment. ● Note that this will be the format of the MSTEP assessment. Computer Adaptive - Math ● Take the test as a student. Performance Task (PT)–Classroom Activity Math ● Read through the Classroom Activity script ◦ http://goo.gl/QloZbA ◦ Administered before PT, no more than a 3-day lapse; recommend same day for Math ◦ Teacher can record information such as tables, graphs, formulas, etc., but may not have these available during the PT ◦ Students can take notes, but not use them during the PT ◦ May not be supplemented with other material and may only be done once with any student ◦ If absent, a make-up session for the classroom activity must be scheduled Performance Task (PT) Math ● Engage in the Performance Task as a student.
