Multiple Choice Multi-Select: More than one answer should be chosen. Two part questions: two questions pertaining to the same topic. Open Response: 1-3 sentences (Just enou to answer the question and support it from the text) Hot Text: highlights the sentence Graphics: interacting with the text TIPS Ask students to show their work. • Students should be able to explain how they arrived at the final answer. • Students should closely read all word problems to better understand the task. SCORING: Florida Statutes requires any third-grade students scoring Level 1 on the grade 3 FSAELA to be retained. Some students may qualify for a good cause exemption and be promoted to fourth grade.
