By 2014-2015 and beyond, all students will
receive instruction on the Math I, Math II
and Math III standards.
In the 2012-2013 school year, all students
whether enrolled in Algebra I, Integrated Math I or
Local Option Math I, were taught and assessed
using the same set of standards. These standards
define the course, Math I.

November, 2012 – Held meeting with the UNC System Leaders to discuss student
matriculation to the UNC System.

December 4th-13th, 2012 - Requested High School Math Task Force participation

January 4th, 2013 - Notified High School Math Task Force participants
•
January 7th–18th, 2013 - Organized data, research and pre-work for Task Force
participants
•
January 25th, 2013 – Held first High School Math Task Force meeting in Raleigh
•
January 29th–February 12th, 2013 - Completed January 29th task list
