Multi-vendor GSM-R integration results

Huawei BSS system was successfully integrated to TCDD’s
GSM-R Core Network.

The final test report was issued 30th April 2013 and ratified in
May 2013

Press Release : “The completion of the multivendor GSM-R
integration is an important project milestone for the Eskisehir-AlayuntKutahya-Balikesir (EKB) European Rail Traffic Management System
(ERTMS) Line. … Stringent GSM-R specifications and equipment
guidelines enable railways globally to setup multivendor systems such
as the one now fully integrated for the EKB High Speed line with a
total length of 464 km.“
With the integration completed TCDD takes benefits of an open, feature-rich and
competitive GSM-R multivendor market.
