Make the tú form of the verb in the present tense.

Drop the “s” hablar – to speak hablas – take off “s” habla – speak!

Make the él/ella/Ud. form of the verb in present tense.

 Mirar

 Estudiar

¡Estudia!

 Eat the pizza! ¡_______ la pizza!

 Clean your room!

¡______ tu cuarto!

Ven – (venir) – Come!

Di – (decir) – Say!

Sal – (salir) – Leave!

Haz – (hacer) – Do! Make!

Ten – (tener) – Have!

Ve - (ir) – Go!

Pon – (poner) – Put!

– (ser) – Be!

These forms are ONLY for the affirmative (or positive) commands!

When adding a direct object pronoun to an affirmative command ALWAYS attach it to the end of the command.

Say the answer! ¡Dila!

Remember: answer = la respuesta. The DOP will be “la”.

If the conjugated verb form (already put in the tú command form) has 3 or more syllables, you MUST put in an accent mark!

Follow the natural stress rules by looking at the verb and adding the accent mark where needed.

Eat the pizza! ¡Cómela!

Co / me has 2 syllables. Accent has to be over the “o”.

“la” is the DOP of “la pizza”
